Solicitors were making my live a little harder then I wanted it to be. I work from home and have 2 little kids (3 year old and 1 year old) so yes, I have my hands full :)
Solicitors have the tendency to ring your doorbell when you are in the middle of doing something, either cooking, changing a diaper or on the phone. And even when I watch TV or a movie they had the guts to ring my doorbell.
I knew this had to stop and got one of these no soliciting stickers. I have found these great no soliciting signs which fit perfectly in the little window next to my front door. They are made of metal and last (mine is on for about 3 years and has not discolored or anything).
Best of all, it is working! The number of solicitors has dropped dramatically. When my doorbell rings I can be 95% sure that it is one of my neighbors or the UPS guy. It is almost too simple to be true!!
